I think it's fair to say learning languages is one of the more difficult things someone can do, not just because of the different rules, but also understanding the culture that each of them is emblematic of. And in Chants of Sennaar, you'll take this ideal to heart in a gripping and unusual fantasy world set to arrive for purchase on iOS and Android on August 26th.
Chants of Sennaar is an award-winning adventure puzzler from Rundisc, which sees you playing as a robed figure called The Traveler. As one of the inhabitants of an enormous structure called The Tower, your job is to unite the disparate People of the Tower by uncovering the secrets of the structure and its inhabitants to bring them together.
How do you do that? Well, not by simply solving point-and-click adventures. Instead, you'll take the inspiration from the Tower of Babel in Chants of Sennaar one step further by meeting and interacting with the various, distinctive cultures of the Tower. You'll need to slowly piece together the different languages, glyphs and grammar necessary to restore harmony to the Tower.
Look at the adjective I've no doubt that Chants of Sennaar will find a devoted audience on mobile who are willing to give such a strange but interesting concept a chance. After all, I can't think of anything quite like it that we've seen so far this year, and when it hits mobile on August 26th, you'll get the chance to try out Chants of Sennaar for yourself with a 'try-before-you-buy' release.
