Developed by Blooming Chatbot, the Blooming Talk app will offer a Human Talk feature for direct communication with artists, and an AI Talk feature providing personalized responses from AI-generated versions of artists. Set to launch in August, fans will be able to talk to K-pop girl group A2O May and other artists from A2O Entertainmentthe U.S.-based agency launched by SM Entertainment founder and former producer Lee Soo-man.
The app will also feature a real-time AI voice call function, allowing users to speak with the AI across multiple languages. Reportedly, the artists AI personas are trained on real conversations and can be further customized based on user preferences. The chatbot will also learn from conversations to fine-tune future responses.
Importantly, the chatbot company says Blooming Talk will include very strict ethical guidelines and operational policies to ban sexual content and inappropriate language. In addition, all artists featured in the app have agreed to participate under fixed contract terms.
Blooming Talk will also have a social media feed with moments where artists will upload photos and texts, and an exclusive photo page where users can unlock pics depending on interactions with that artists chatbot. Users can also personalize the apps notifications and set voice, text alerts, and a morning alarm from their favorite musician.
On launch, the app will be available in Korea, China, Japan, and the United States sometime in August. Voice calls will support 30 languages, though the available languages may be modified before the official launch.
A2O Entertainment was founded in 2024 by Lee Soo-man after he was ousted from SM Entertainment last year over internal management issues. The record label and entertainment agency is the home of artists like Chinese girl group A2O May, which debuted in December. Meanwhile his former label SM Entertainment debuted AI artist Naevis last year to mixed reviews.
