It all started with a reaction to DDG's music.

What began as a seemingly harmless reaction to a TikTok clip has snowballed into one big feud between streamers DDG and Reggie — better known as Lil Rodney Son. The two recently got into a war of words that’s gone far beyond music critiques and friendly competition as they’ve both dragged in family and personal relationships.

DDG first made his mark on YouTube before transitioning to a rap career with viral hits like “Moonwalking in Calabasas” and becoming a Twitch streamer. Aside from his own successful career, he’s also garnered attention for past high-profile relationship with actress-singer Halle Bailey, with whom he shares a son, Halo. As for Reggie, he has made a name for himself on Twitch with his sharp commentary, raw humor, and real-time reactions to trending topics. Though newer to the scene than DDG, his unfiltered opinions have earned him a loyal following and viral moments.

The two personalities collided when Reggie reacted to a TikTok of DDG discussing fake support for his latest music. DDG felt the reaction was disingenuous and addressed it directly on stream, telling Reggie to “stop faking.” From there, the tension escalated quickly, with both creators exchanging personal jabs that took the drama far beyond the original clip.

The feud kicked off when Twitch streamer Reggie — also known as Lil Rodney Son — reacted to a TikTok clip of DDG speaking on people “faking” support for his music. DDG, who felt Reggie was being disingenuous, pointed out that Reggie had previously complimented his older album but was now switching up with criticism. Addressing it directly on his own livestream, DDG told Reggie to “stop faking” and urged him to watch full videos before speaking on him.

“You just listened to my old album and said it was hard, bro. Like, stop faking,” DDG said during the livestream clip. “You need to react to full clips before you get on here speaking on me, because these ni**as clip it,” he added, suggesting that his words about “fake” supporters may have gotten misconstrued with social media’s clip-farming tactics.

Reggie clapped back by clarifying that he never claimed to have loved the entire album, saying he only liked “a song or two.” He accused DDG of exaggerating and added that the rapper seemed too concerned with a “relationship” issue that had nothing to do with him. Reggie said he wouldn’t publicly comment on DDG’s personal life if the roles were reversed, but admitted he added a little extra “seasoning” for entertainment value.

“I never listened to his album and said it was hard,” he said. “I said you got a song or two on that that may be something. I’m not going to lie, I never said that. He’s definitely capping.” Reggie also took offense and questioned why DDG was even concerned about his love life in the first place, saying, “You’re a grown man, bro. Like, why are you even worried about another man’s relationship?” Turning it up a notch, he admitted that he didn’t need to call DDG’s music trash — but he did it anyway, chalking it up to “seasoning” for his stream.

“As a grown man, though, sometimes you got to mind your business. I’m not going to lie,” he added.

Things escalated quickly when Reggie mentioned DDG’s relationship with Halle Bailey and their son, Halo. He questioned DDG’s priorities, implying he was too busy entertaining online drama to focus on fatherhood. Reggie then added a pointed remark suggesting that DDG would have to “live with this sh*t for the rest of your life,” which many interpreted as a dig at his parenting or physica l abuse allegations against him.

“DDG, you’re an older guy in this game. You know what saying? I’m a younger ni**a. I still got time, I still got time, my ni**a,” Reggie said. “Ain’t no telling what I’m be doing by time I’m your age, ni**a. Hopefully, I’m not on Twitch beefing with ni**as. You know what? I’m trying to take care of my family and sh*t, but I don’t know, them ni**a keep talking about how I don’t have a dad. Ni**a, where your son at ni**a? Ni**a, where your son at?”

“You worried about me, gang. I ain’t gonna lie, bro, you gotta live with this sh*t for the rest of your life. Why? You gotta live with this with the rest of your life. You try to get on stream and act like you ain’t see that sh*t,” he added. That’s why I’m scared to have a baby. Your baby mom is with you for life, like that’s your family. You can say whatever you want about me, gang, you gotta live with this for the rest of your life. These are decisions that you made, bro, that you gotta live with for the rest of your life, gang.”

Streaming from Italy, DDG responded with a livestream titled “REGGIE DAD GONE,” directly referencing Reggie’s deceased father. With no intention of backing down, DDG made it clear the gloves were off. “You bring my family into it, I’ll bring yours into it,” he said, adding that he no longer had any respect for Reggie.

“For people that’s worried about the title, I have lost all respect for that little a** boy. I have no respect,” he declared. “I’m ready to go as low as possible. You go low, you bring my family into it, I’ll bring your family into it. That’s just how it goes. It’s fair game at this point. And y’all know, I’ll never be trying to take sh*t this far. But he leave me no choice. You feel me?”

Reggie fired back by condemning DDG’s comments about his deceased father, calling them “lame” and “unnecessary.” He stated that while he’d never disrespect someone’s deceased loved ones, DDG had crossed a line. Reggie ended by emphasizing that, above all, he was focused on protecting his peace and mental well-being.

“He had my dad as his home screen and sh*t. Right? I’m yet again going to state it again – I’m personally not going to diss his dead people because I know that that sh*t is just unnecessary,” Reggie stated in a live video. “These ni***s don’t got me mad enough for me to even want to do that.”

He added, “But, I just want to shed light on the lame sh*t that he did because he said I’m a f**ked up individual for not going to my dad’s funeral, when y’all ni**as gotta understand, bro, as a man, ni**a, mentally, you gotta protect your peace, gang.”
