Christian missionary Jane McAfee who lives in Peachtree City gave the following as her reasons for attending the rally, I participated because I believe in the checks and balances provided by our constitution and see expanding the powers of the presidency and the executive branch as detrimental to our nation. In addition, I have major concerns about the values placed on giving increased benefits to the wealthy while at the same time showing disregard and lack of compassion for the most vulnerable among us.

The No Kings rally was part of a larger move across the country that included some two thousand national rallies. It was organized by 50501, whose motto is 50 States, 50 Rallies, 1 Movement.
