
Super Falcons have emerged winners of the group despite a goalless draw against Algeria in their final group game of the Womens Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The Nigerian ladies are seeking for a 10th Womens title in Africa, and are now in the quarter-finals of the competition holding in Morocco.
Falcons began their campaign with a 4-p victory over Tunisia before scoring a late winner to see off Botswana 1-0 in their second group game.

The team, led by Justin Madugu, made eight changes from their starting Xi for the final group clash, and were able to hold on to take one point from the game.
Nigeria win group B with 7 points from three matches, Algeria finish in second place with five points, while Botswana, 3, and Tunisia, 1, crash out.
